Pay
This Apprentice Plumber position comes with a competitive wage of $17.00 - $20.00/hour, depending on experience
Work Week Schedule
Typical workweek is eight (8) hour workdays five (5) days per week with on-call weekend work on a rotating basis
During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, the position may require longer hours with overtime paid as applicable

Responsibilities
Assist Senior Plumbers: Work closely with experienced plumbers to learn the trade and gain hands-on experience.
Follow Instructions: Follow directions and guidance from journeyman or master plumbers to complete tasks effectively.
Learn Plumbing Techniques: Learn and apply plumbing techniques such as pipe cutting, soldering, welding, and joining pipes.
Install Plumbing Systems: Assist in the installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Maintain Tools: Keep plumbing tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good condition.
Read Blueprints: Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand plumbing layouts.
Diagnose Issues: Assist in diagnosing plumbing problems, leaks, and malfunctions and contribute to effective solutions.
Assist with Repairs: Participate in plumbing repairs and maintenance, including replacing or repairing damaged pipes and fixtures.
Comply with Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and fellow team members.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for future reference.
Learn Plumbing Codes: Familiarize yourself with local plumbing codes and regulations to ensure compliance with standards.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on plumbing industry developments, tools, and techniques through ongoing training and education.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the plumbing team to complete projects efficiently and to meet deadlines.
Assist in Emergencies: Be prepared to assist in plumbing emergencies and urgent repair situations.
Other assignment: Perform other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Apprentice Plumbing license
Great attitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Can sit, walk, bend, and lift for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
