Support both administrative operations and accounts payable functions
Manage vendor invoices, payments, and statement reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Support office operations and daily clerical needs
Location: Millersville, MD
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Processing invoices and managing the full accounts payable cycle
Preparing check, ACH, and wire payments and communicating with vendors
Reconciling vendor statements and assisting with AP accruals
Supporting audits by maintaining accurate financial documentation
Greeting visitors and maintaining visitor records
Organizing files and maintaining office documentation
Monitoring and restocking office and kitchen supplies
Performing data entry, reporting, and basic administrative tasks

High school diploma or equivalent
Three or more years of experience in accounts payable or administrative support preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel formulas and pivot tables
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
