Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring that these reports accurately represent the financial health of the company and comply with accounting standards.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. This includes recording financial transactions, tracking expenses, and categorizing income and expenditures.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to help the company plan for the future and make informed financial decisions.
Tax Preparation and Compliance: Calculate, prepare, and file various tax returns for the company, while remaining up to date with tax laws and regulations to ensure the company remains in compliance and takes advantage of available tax benefits.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management, involving the identification of trends, evaluating investment opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of various business decisions.
Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, including currency exchange rate fluctuations, market volatility, and credit risks.
Communicating Financial Information: Frequently interact with various stakeholders, including management, shareholders, auditors, and government agencies, to explain financial results and provide financial advice.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure financial practices align with ethical guidelines and ethical standards.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure the performance of your duties and maintain compliance.

3+ years experience as an Accountant
HVAC industry experience a plus
CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, CIA Certified, or Bar License is required
An educational degree in accounting, financing, or a related field is a plus
Service Titan experience is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience
Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
A good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS), and tax laws relevant to the region or HVAC industry
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills required
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficient in accounting software and financial systems, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other industry-specific software
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and recommend a course of action to the supervisor
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and drive to meet deadlines
Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Must enjoy a dynamic environment, remain flexible, and handle changing priorities over multiple priorities, tasks, and situations
Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple tasks successfully
A willingness to stay updated with industry trends, accounting regulations, and new technologies
Must be authorized to work in the US.
