What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems

• Respond to service calls and get critical refrigeration equipment back up and running

• Perform preventative maintenance to improve system reliability, efficiency, and equipment life

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues

• Document service work accurately using company-provided technology

• Build your technical skills through company-paid training and continuing education

• Participate in the on-call rotation

• Provide professional, dependable service while representing M.J. Mac Inc. in the field

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 5 years of HVAC/R experience preferred

• Commercial refrigeration experience preferred

• Residential HVAC technicians ready to transition into commercial refrigeration are encouraged to apply

• EPA Certification required

• NATE Certification is a plus

• Strong HVAC/R troubleshooting and electrical knowledge

• Comfortable using mobile technology and service software

• ServiceTitan experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong documentation and computer skills

• Ability to safely operate power tools

• Dependable, positive, and committed to quality workmanship

• Ability to work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

• Willingness to travel throughout an approximately two-hour service area
