Commercial Construction Superintendent

BKB Enterprises is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee restaurant and retail construction projects throughout California.

• $100,000 - $135,000 annually based on experience

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You will lead day-to-day field operations on commercial restaurant and retail construction projects from mobilization through project completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily commercial construction jobsite operations

• Coordinating subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and scheduling

• Maintaining production timelines while supporting quality standards

• Enforcing OSHA compliance and jobsite safety procedures

• Managing field logistics and project sequencing

• Reviewing construction plans and resolving field-related issues

• Communicating with project managers, vendors, inspectors, and ownership teams

• Maintaining daily reports and project documentation

• Keeping projects organized, on schedule, and progressing efficiently

This is a hands-on field leadership role for an experienced Superintendent who understands how to manage commercial construction projects effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction

• Restaurant, retail, or tenant improvement experience preferred

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and field coordination

• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to problem-solve independently in the field

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and commitment to jobsite safety

• Comfortable using computers, tablets, smartphones, and construction management software

• Ability to send professional emails, RFIs, and project correspondence

• Procore Certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification prior to employment

• Valid driver’s license
